Hi,
Am I the only one having issues, when sending existing routes/stops from MyDrive(web or app) to Go.
Nothing happens...
When creating and sending a new route, everything is OK...
BTW: Go is connected to and syncing MyDrive

Hi @954dk
I missed the details in the original post. Thanks, @RoadRider!
We are aware of this limitation and working on it You can sync route with waypoints from MD, but waypoint won't be depicted in the app. The route will be properly synced, I mean its shape, but waypoints won't be there in the app.
Thanks, lampard0

Forgot to mention that I'm running GO v. 3.0.0 and MyDrive 2.15.0 on OnePlus 7T/Android 110

Hi Lampard and thanks for answering me.
Your talking about tracks.
When creating a route and sending stops, nothing happens.

The Send Stops option isn't supported (Yet) on the Go App.
You only can sync Tracks. Saved Routes are not supported see screenshot of lampard only arrow's with dotted lines.1 -

Hi Lampard,
Thanks. I'll wait and see. Hopefully it'll be functional in a short while?0 -
I just installed the 3.0 update.
Sending Destinations now works in the Go App.1 -
Have you tried on existing routes?
If yes: More than once?0 -
Yes, i tried an existing route only I used SendITNRoute to upload the route.
This works multiple times.
I did some more testing. It looks like using a existing route in MyDrive web the Go App locks and doesn't accept new Routes send to the app.
Solution:
Close the Go App
Wait
Start the Go App
Open a Existing route in MyDrive (Max 20 Stops)
Edit the Route.
Move at least one stop
Send Stops to the App
@lampard Can you check this?1 -
Thanks @RoadRider , we will check this issue.
Could you please explain what do you mean by SendITNRoute?1 -
@RoadRider
Thanks! You definately got a pointe here!
The issue here is the waypoint limited by 20 in total.
Start + 18 waypoints + Destination.
No matter whick one of my existing routes, I pick, it works.
I found out another (known) reason, whcis is the synchronization lack and failures betwen server and app.
@szachowa
If TomTom limit the waypoints/stops to 18 - only when sending stops, everything will be OK.
Then we just need the ability to upload gpx files in the app...

@szachowa SendITNRoute is a litle Windows program I wrote that uses the GOR api to send an route max 21 stops to the MyDrive backend.
Using internet at home you can access it on this page https://roadrider.jouwweb.nl/send-itn-route
(It seems te be blocked by the internal TomTom firewall)1 -
The ability to send stops to the App is great, however, this feature is pretty useless if you cannot save to My Routes in the App.
Mod edit: Moved this comment from New version 3.0 for GO Navigation App (Android)0 -
Hi @RoadRider , since we are very busy at the moment, I have created for us GONAV-3184, so we won't forget about this issue.2
-
Thank you, I'm sure it must have just been an oversight.0

Fantastic, thank you. Do Tomtom publish the updates and their uses anywhere.1

OK, I think I managed to reproduce the issue.
I created 2 routes in MyDrive app running on the phone:
* one with no stops
* one with 21 stops
When I try to send destination from the route with no stops, it is OK. Now if I move to route that has been already existing, that is route with 21 stops, and I try to send the stops - nothing happens.
When I create new route with the stops - it is OK. When I immediately moved to 21 stops route - it will show route that I just created, not the existing route with 21 stops.
I will collect logs and I will try to move the ticket further to devs.2 -

I really appreciate your work!1 -
Hi, we have analyzed this issue, and this is the response I received from responsible team:Thank you for reaching out to us. The possibility to add no more than 20 stops is the limitation of MyDrive. Please plan the route with more stops in GO Nav app and save it as your route by tapping on it and choosing Manage Route > Add to My Routes.1
-
Nope...
The route doesn't show up in MyDrive, when planned in Go.
Start, stop and 21 stops or less....0 -
I know.
But what's then the purpose of using MyDrive?
I thought, you fixed synchronisation both ways1
