MyDrive Connect wont allow me to add my device (GO Basic)

I'm using a MBP 16" on Big Sur - and CAN NOT add my new GO BASIC to MyDrive Connect. I get the screen that tells me to 'PLEASE CONNECT YOUR DEVICE' and have followed all of the steps. I've also checked 'Network' in System Preferences and can seee the device listed (with amber light) so the computer IS seeing the tomtom - but I still cant add it as a device. I've tried reinstalling MyDrive connect - but get the same issue. Is anyone else having this problem?

Can any one offer me a solution?
