This should get fixed by reinstalling a fresh map using TomTom HOME.
1. Remove map

2. Disconnect the device and reinstall TomTom HOME
This will require a clean uninstall so follow the detailed procedure from here- https://help.tomtom.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360013901520
Download a fresh version of TomTom HOME

3. Connect the device and download a fresh map offered as an update-

Hi @VikramK
I have tried everything, it gave me loads of messages then said they can't be used on my TomTom did I want to remove.
they are still on satnav but when I try and switch to them I get an error message "you cannot use this map on this device: Western_Europe-102836"0 -

Thank you very much for your help,
I followed every step but still had no joy, so this time I followed the steps but also searched my PC for anything that came up with TomTom and deleted all of the folders as well.
This time when I reinstalled everything worked and I have my maps back.
I couldn't thank you enough.
