How do I get my maps back on my device when they aren't marked as corrupted in My Drive Connect?

tjmvmtjmvm Posts: 3 [New Seeker]
My TomTom suddenly showed the "No Maps Available" page, so I went to the help page https://help.tomtom.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360013900620-No-maps-available-MyDrive-Connect- but on the My Drive desktop app, it tells me that my maps are fully up to date and that they're not corrupted. It also doesn't give me an option to uninstall the map that I currently have. The 'Empty download folder' is also greyed out so I can't click on that when I follow the line of instructions from the link above.
It's kind of frustrating as I this happened quite suddenly and in between the last time I bought an updated map through the My Drive Connect desktop app.
Any help on how to get my sat nav maps up and running again would be great! Thank you!

    Hi
    @tjmvm
    Welcome to the site....
Have you tried a Soft/Drum roll restart on the device ??? This restarts the devices Operating System afresh

    RESETTING YOUR NAVIGATION DEVICE
    https://help.tomtom.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360013957499-Resetting-your-navigation-device
Charge the device for at least 2Hrs….
OR have the device plugged into a power supply while the device is restarting
(Preferably using something like a Smartphone Charger using the Tomtom USB lead)
Press and hold the on/off button until you hear a drum-roll sound then release the on/off button.
You won’t lose anything; it’s just like rebooting your PC
I use a Soft/drum-roll start after any upgrade large or small.
It’s also useful to keep in mind for sorting out most minor niggles....

    Hi @YamFazMan

I just gave this drum roll restart a go (the device's been charging for the last few hours and I plugged it in too to be sure), but the 'No Maps available' page came back up upon the restart :(
I tried the steps in the original link again but no luck this time either.

Thank you again @YamFazMan! It's been really helpful. I got in touch with their support team who seem to have fixed the issue after there was a minor technical fault with my account (a few other people also had similar problems as well recently they said).

    Cheers again :)
