Says TomTom connect not connected to the internet

Cannot get Tomtom 20 to connect to internet

    Hi @mikecairnssmith
    How are you trying to connect? direct to internet or via smartphone?

    Just to ask have you gone into settings and checked if you have:-
    1. Wi-Fi enabled
    2. entered the security code for your Wi-Fi (if wi-fi enabled device)?

    Also if just trying to get it to work whilst out driving have you checked you have signed into your Tom Tom account on the device?

    If any of the above it will not connect.
