Problem connecting with TomTom Live 800 Series

Hi, I have just acquired a TomTom Live 800 series. When I tried to connect it to My Drive Connect the sat nav was not recognised despite several attempts. When I logged out it suddenly showed my unit as an 825 and needed 6 updates. This is as far as I can go. Any help would be gratefully received.

    FW2 are the first letters of the serial number.
