Cannot add device to MyDrive Connect

Hi, I cannot add a Tomtom GO 60 to a new account.
I got this device from a friend. When I try to add it to my account I get a message like "impossible to add this device at the moment"

    I don't think so, he didn't use it since long and doesn't remember the account access

    Hi @mikiquo

    Have you Factory Reset the unit and input your Tomtom Account details.

    If you have then contact Customer Support o see if they cn sort it for you.

    Try the following:-

    Tap Support at the top of this page
    Sign in Top Right of next Page. (you have to do this)
    When signed in Tap Contact Us bottom right
    Help Box appears and after a few seconds Get in Touch also appears
    Tap Get in Touch
    You are now offered Chat or Email. If Chat is closed it will tell you the hours that it will be available.

    Chat is busy you may have to try a few times
    If the above does not work as described then try another Web Browser..

    My device is a TomTom GO620 and when I first bought it I added it to my account, now it has disappeared and after many attempts at following the 'TomTom Support' instructions I am stopped every time at the point of hw7v5u88rg58.png on MyDrive (see attached image). Every time I click on continue, the program tries to access the initial account page and then goes back to the page with continue. I have just re-installed MyDrive on my PC just in case. I am unable to perform any updates at this point because they fail every time.

    Hi @Cowand, Welcome to the community!
    Could you try few steps as below-

    1. Disconnect the device from the computer.
    2. Perform a factory reset- Main menu- Settings- System- Reset
    3. Log-in to MyDrive on the device- Main menu Settings- MyDrive
    4. Now connect the device to the computer and open MyDrive Connect.

    Do you see your GO 620 is listed under your account?

    Voila! Thank you Vikram, your instructions corrected the problem I had. I might add that if all your saved locations on you GPS are not saved on your MyDrive profile you will lose them. Prior to resetting my TomTom I went through all my places or destinations on the device and wrote them down, just in case. Many thanks for your help!
