Go Supreme traffic connection?

On my go supreme unit, my tom tom connects to traffic and my drive in my house when planning a trip but when I go outside and start to go to my destination, my unit disconnects from traffic and my drive. Does anyone have any answers thanks

    Have you connected your Go Supreme to your phone via Bluetooth and if so what model phone are you using.

    Yes my Samsung S8+ phone is connected via bluetooth

    You must allow Bluetooth tethering on your Phone for the go Supreme or use the MyDrive App

    My cell says it is connected by bluetooth to my tom tom. Is there another thing I need to do?

    On my phone i have under Settings/Connections/Mobile Hotspot and Tethering bluetooth tethering enabled.

    On the Satnav tap on Menu/Settings/Bluetooth/(your Phone) and make sure that the switch "Data to Traffic and other services" is enabled.
    Pair the Phone out of Wifi Range, because Wifi has priority.
