tomtom GO PREMIUM X- No voice guidance

i have chosen voice but it wont say directions or street name any help

    For future reference you don't need to go out and check. Create a route and Select Lets go then

    Tap Menu
    Tap Current Route
    Scroll right and Tap Play Route Preview.

    You will now see what will happen if you were actually following the directions. If you want to test what will happen at a Speed Cameras then create a route passed one and then Play the Review.

    Welcome to the site....
    You need the TTS Computer Voice Serena or Malcolm for spoken Street names....
    Check... Tap 4Dot (.... Menu) --> Setting --> Voice....
    Choose a Voice > Serena

    Check... Tap 4Dot (.... Menu)
    Are any 'Sound Icons' slashed through ??? It’s really easy to turn off a Sound Icon when swiping through the Menus

    For general improvement using the Tomtom Speed Cam Database over the default settings

    Always use a Computer voice...
    Serena or Malcolm here in the UK
    Also....
    From the main screen... Tap (.... Menu) -> Setting -> Sounds & Warnings...
    Set... 'Warning Type' to... Read Allowed... (Important... Needs a Computer Voice set in the Voices menu)
    Speed Cameras & Hazards... Set to ON
    The next 10 Setting ALL set to Always
    The next 4 Settings ALL set to ON
    Along with the standard triple 'dong dong dong' warning the device will now say....
    'Fixed Camera'
    'Mobile Hot Spot'
    'Red-light Camera'
    'Accident Black-spots
    ‘Spoken Traffic delays’

    No sorry did not work . If i try Jane voice it works but Serena & Malcolm will not work

    I would suggest you try a Factory Reset. Before doing the Reset go to the TT MyDrive Webpage and log into your account and check all your My Places and My Routes etc are saved there so will sync back onto your device after the Reset.

    Tap menu
    Tap Settings
    Tap System
    Tap Reset Device.

    When you have tried this please advise how you got on using your original post on this matter.
