How to ask for refund or replacement?

Hi, i have bought one TomTom Navigationsgerät Via 53 via Amazon. After I received them and i found it was not like what the website described. The screen of this device can not regulate up or downside, and the website showed the device can stand by the middel of operation before the steering wheel in the car. However, I try to calm down with these since I did not use often. Unexpectedly the line for connection to the car is quite easy broken and now it is completely over and cann't connect to the GPS. I really appreciate if someone else could show me how to ask for the refund or replacement since it is still in the guarantee period. It takes me so long time to find a support community here.
