i have bought the subscription for Live traffic but it has not updated on my device any ideas ?

Welcome to the community! The service for TomTom Traffic has not been allocated to your account yet. On some random occasions, it could take a litter longer to show up.
My advice would be to contact our customer service along with the order number. They can review the details and sort this out.
