Mazda NB-1 - SD card not recognised, macOS, urgent!
Tomtom Home will NOT recognise the SD card. I've followed the steps and it still doesn't recognise it.
I'm using an up to date Mac
I have no backup. I want to buy a new map / and services to try them out.
Can I format the card (or use a new blank card), put it in the car, then setup from scratch in the app.
Please help!!!

SD Card
Using MacOS
Trying to update the Maps for the first time since 2013. It's now 2021...
Have installed TomTom Home
Have the SD card updated in the car & inserted into the SD card slot
There is a loopir file on the card
"There are errors on the memory card that cannot be repaired by Home. Have followed the instructions on the device (the car), turned it on, let it turn off.
Can someone help please. Surely a new SD isn't needed?
I desperately want this tech to work, given it works perfectly well (it's just out of date).
I need to buy a new map anyway, probably will try some services also.
Should I just format the card anyway without backing up?
This doesn't solve the problem.
Do you know if a blank SD card can be used and start from scratch?
I blank SD card can be used but there has to be an active map on the account for download.
I reviewed your TomTom account and I don't see a device linked. Do you have a serial number that you can send me through a private message so I can check and advise further?
Thanks, Vikram
I am unable to link a device because the SD card cannot be read when entered into the laptop (using macOS).
Please advise.
I'm having similar issue trying to upgrade via Windows 10. TomTom Home advises using "supplied USB cable" to connect to computer. However SD card only supplied with in car, so have to use a card reader and software doesn't recognise connection. What do I do?
