I have a VIA 1525TM that identifies as a START 52 when connected to MyDrive (Perhaps it needs counselling LOL). As a result maps/traffic are expired. Can anyone help?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hi
@PT1972
Welcome to the site....
The same model is known by different names in various sales zones
What are the 1st 2 characters of the serial number ??? The two letters define the Tomtom Model....
UK & Europe...
US & Canada...
Try...
With MyDrive Connect running...
Click on the Cog Wheel Icon Screen top right
Click on the General Tab
Check Country (Language)... United States (English)
Save Settings

Thanks for clearing up the question regarding my device's name. However, it's supposed to have lifetime maps and traffic, which it no longer has. Can this be fixed?0

Yes I can explain this. It is the same device but has two different names depending on which market the device is sold in. One of the moderators explained that to me. Also, if you look at the two user manuals, they are exactly the same, including the length.
Hope that helps. Have a great day travelling!1 -
EddieYap, please see the post above by YazFamMan on February 7 for more information on my previous post. In short, the UK and Europe have one name and the US and Canada have another.
Happy motoring!1
