The Tomtom units inbuilt Mobile Sims work using the 2g system. I think that 2g System has been closed down in Switzerland. So would explain why not working there.

Now I read something that Swisscom network from Swisserland they closed the 2g network on December 2020.soon the France will close also the 2g network. I think Tomtom need to pass on 3g network.
If the problem is the 2g network? How can you solve it ?? Mine doesn't work in France or Spain. Nothing. Can't Tomtom release an update? Now you can't even speak to the audience. They sell the devices and do not guarantee operation. 😢😒

If you have a Smart Phone then when connecting your phone via Bluetooth does the GO6250 then give you Traffic Data. when 2g is not available.

Normally should work because was included in traffic cover. Tomtom speak with Swisserland and solve this
