Touch screen on VIA 1605 activates buttons on left side only

My Via 1605 touchscreen is suddenly acting strange. If I click on the right side of the screen, only different buttons on the left are acitivated. If I click on buttons on the left, the buttons on the left are activated normally.. I was trying to calibrate the screen but when I connect the device to my computer to adjust the cal.txt file, the GPS doesn't show up in Windows explorer and I can't see the files on the GPS. I need help!

    Try a drum reset on the unit by holding the power button about 20 seconds till you hear the drum sounds.

    Only the early NAV2 devices that use TomtomHome have access to the operating system....
    The NAV3, NAV4 & NAV5 (Wi-Fi) have NO access to the operating system....

    So how to I fix the problem if I can't access the txt file to change the touchscreen coordinates?

    Hi @ChickN

    Can you carefully check you have not got something between the screen and the bezel also screen savers can cause similar issues.

    just reset the unit to factory default.
