Error installing MyDrive Connect

Downloaded and tried to install InstallTomTomMyDriveConnect.exe.
Received error message "File does not have app associated". Listed file is C:\users\*\AppData\Local\Temp\TempMDC.lnk

    Which version of windows are you using ???

    Note... Under the red "Download for Windows" link....
    There's a Link..."Do you use Vista or XP download here"

    Important....
    NEVER have a Tomtom device connected to your PC when....
    (1)... Installing MyDrive Connect (Including Uninstalling & Reinstalling MyDrive Connect)
    (2)... Updating the MyDrive Connect program

    Having your device connected can have an adverse effect on the USB Driver install….
