GO 6200 won't stay connected to pc long enough to restore or update

Hi . 6200 won't turn fully on. Gets to a screen which shows a broken connection (x) between device and computer. When I try to connect its begins to restore but switches off after about 10% and starts all over again. Cant get the 6200 to go to the white text for a factory reset. not sure what to do next.. Also the device doesn't show on my connect account, but I can't add t as it won't connect to the PC (Mac). Bought new July 2018. Any thoughts anyone??

Welcome to the community! I don't see a device linked to your TomTom account you are using on our forum.
We have seen some similar reports recently and so my advice would be to report this behaviour to our customer service team.
