Android app subscription via google play not usable

Apprentice Seeker
I was prompted to renew my subscription on Dec 15th, which I did through the app. It took me to Google Play and all seemed ok. But now (Dec 22) the app does not recognize my subscription, and my TomTom account online shows no active subscriptions. How to I resolve this?
