Loading maps on GO 500

Maps are loaded into the device's memory, 67MB is left. An inserted memory card is 16GB, maps cannot be loaded onto it. Previously, the cards were loaded onto an inserted memory card. This is normal, or there is some kind of malfunction. Thank you in advance.

    Hi @pavlo_23_23

Only having 67mb of Free Internal Memory is not a good idea as a minimum of 400mb is recommended. When you inserted the 16gb card into the GO500 did you format it in the unit for maps that is required.

Possibly @VikramK or @lampard will allocate a small map to your account which you can seek to load on the unit. Ultimately it is best loaded on the internal memory and the Full Europe is loaded on the external memory. The full Europe map is to big for the internal memory however you cannot delete the current map on the unit to replace it by the small map. The unit requires a map on it to start up hence it will not let you delete the map.

The benefit of the small map is if during an update you lose the main map because of a problem the small map enables you to run the unit normally and so reload the lost map.

Thank you for your help, the device is already working well. The problem was in the memory card, it has a second section of 4 megabytes. Thank you. :)
