My watch has stopped tracking runs accurately

Darren2005Darren2005 Posts: 3 [Apprentice Seeker]
Anyone know why my watch that was very accurate has suddenly started being out by 200-300m over 5km? I'm running on the streets and there are no tall buildings around. I have sync the watch so everything should be up to date.

Could be the GPS chip is dying but you can try to reset it and see if it helps. If the steps below don't help try a full factory reset.

    1) Plug the watch into the computer and in Sports Connect, click the Gear Icon
    2) Press CTRL (Windows) or CMD (MAC) on your keyboard while you hover your mouse over the reset button.
    3) You'll see the reset button turns into a "Turn Off" button.
    4) Click it, disconnect the watch and the screen will go dead.
    5) Reconnect the watch and it will wake up and it should now update as usual.

Thank you. I will give it a go and hope it fixes it.

If it does not there is nothing else you can do but replace the watch, there are plenty of brands out there with better feature sets for less money these days (TT Sports went out of business over 3 years ago).
