MyDrive Connect doesn't recognize my device

i Can't get"my drive connect "to find my device even though my device says its connected . I've tried everything and occasionally it finds it only to start an update it never finishes. This has been going on for 2 years now and tom tom support is useless. Can anyone help?

    Hi.

    Mine is a GO60 series so I don't know if this will work for you, but I had that same problem a couple of times. I think I solved it by trying with a different USB cable.

    Had the same issue with my GO5000. Tried everything, replacing cable, upgrading Windows10 driver, reinstalled MyDrive Connect, using other PC, until I was triggered by the fact that the TomTom USB driver is a network driver. (ndis remote, tomtom) Because I did a VPN client installation some time ago of Cisco Anyconnect Secure Mobility Client, I decided to remove this client. This has solved the issue for me. Maybe other VPN software using virtual network drivers is causing issues as well. Worthwhile to check in your case.
