VIA 135 will no longer find my mobile phone

I recently updated my VIA 135 and it will no longer "find " my mobile phone when switching on.....My phone tells me it is discoverable, and the TomTom has Bluetooth connected. Any ideas please....

    Welcome to the community!
    The Via 135 is a third-generation TomTom model, the Bluetooth version on the device might not be compatible to pair with the latest smartphone models.

    btw, which phone model are you using?

    I have a Samsung A20E . It was successfully linked to my TomTom for several months until the most recent Tom Tom update. I have tried to link the 2 many times since then, have succeeded twice but connection is then lost after a few days.
