Can't login with GO 6000 to update

Hello,,My sister in law would like to update the map on her GO6000...her husband died two years ago and she does not know the password to login...she also does not have access to the registered email address to reset password...can anyone help please...cant find any way to speak to anyone from tomtom

One simple solution is to create a new account with her own email address. Then do a factory reset on the GO6000 which will delete all the account data etc on the unit including any 3rd Party POI files and any saved Routes on the unit. The Reset will not change the Operating software or map versions on the unit. When the unit starts after the reset you will be taken through the set up routine at which point you can input the new account.
Factory Reset
Tap menu
Tap settings
Tap system
Tap Reset Device.
Once the unit has been set up it should be offered Map updates

Thank you for your advice...that seems to have worked...updating now1
