Not all activities sync

I have an adventurer and it has proved problematic connecting in the past via Bluetooth. I recently did a long 25 mile hike and the app won't recognise the walk. It syncs all other activities. I've tried reinstalling and creating a new profile to download to but the activity is visible on the watch but won't transfer at all via Bluetooth or direct PC cable..
