Why is this road showing 'slow traffic' and 'flooding' for the past few weeks?

Dorset, UK. A35 south of Dorchester has been showing delays due to flooding for weeks now. Not only has it not rained here for weeks, but as a local I can confirm there are no delays or flooding on this route.
It doesn't inspire much confidence in TomTom.
So what's the issue here, and how can it be resolved?

Yes, I reported this on 17th Sept., but it's still showing on my PC MyDrive map, but not on my device. It says it's been 'accepted' on the mapshare website.

I've just driven along this stretch of road, and there is no flooding. Oddly, that warning has now also started showing on my device as well as on MyDrive.

I reported it again on 21st, but it's still showing as 'pending'.

What a farce this is. It's still showing as 'pending'. This particular stretch of road is one of the few places around here that doesn't get inundated whenever there's heavy rain. It's an elevated section, 54m above the ground.
Makes me wonder what other incidents and warnings are shown on my device, but don't actually exist.
