Subscription Sharing on GO Navigation App

HerbaldewHerbaldew Posts: 35 [Master Explorer]
How does one set this up?

I have IOS 14 on both phone's but login is still not accepted on wife's phone. I tried her login credentials and my credentials. Purchase of app is shared by me to her on my phone. I don't see anything about sharing the subscription.

Support family sharing still needs work from our side. We are working on implementing family sharing support in a future update.

Please, can you mention a roadmap/timeframe?

This is a tough one. We have this on our roadmap since Apple announced that iOS 14 would support this. But I can't really give a time frame.

@Jürgen Thanks for your reply. Hoewever, the reason why I am asking for a roadmap/timeframe is because there are a lot of issues for which I am/we are waiting for a long(er) time now....:(

I just send a mail. I am curious what solutions will be offered as my girlfriend from the same household would have to buy a separate license for her iPhone, even though I already have a (long-term) license.

    We'll wait and see.

Is the work on your side already finished? Has been 3 months a go when you announced you would integrate this feature in the next update. Because it takes quite some times it feels you are not taking this serious and are hoping families are willing to pay 2 subscriptions. However, this family now is experiencing Waze on the wife’s device and is now wondering why you should pay at all for navigation.... Maybe a quick update and hoping that families will decide quicker if they can enjoy it within the family...

=)B) I am a happy Wazer now for about 4 months or so and I must say at the moment I do not see the necessity to extend my subscription which ends in March 2021 unless TomTom can and will solve the issues with CarPlay.
