Camera alerts vanished after update

I recently updated the maps on my Fathers Tomtom start 52, since doing so he is no longer getting speed camera alerts. The alerts are on in settings and the volume is up but no speed camera alerts at all? Has the map update removed the camera alerts and will I now need to pay to get the camera alerts back?

    Ive had the same issue with my GO520 , ive noticed that if its connected to a WIFI signal (Hotspot), that they work perfectly fine

    Ive asked questions but , it looks like no from Tomtom regulate these pages , NO phone numbers to contact Tomtom , very poor customer support
