Hello!
I'm about ready to throw this satnav out! Connecting to traffic and speed cameras are an iffy thing. I try using My Drive and doesnt connect. Bluetooth and phone are connected to the satnav but today with major traffic on M25 and other days traffic doesn't work.
I used to be able to just turn on the satnav and all worked, now depends on how it feels. Please help as I'm really ready to throw this.

Hi
@MelRoo
Welcome to the site
If you're in the Office or at Home and your device is connected to your Office/Home Wi-Fi
The Wi-Fi connection will be priority Data connection
Note.... It's the same when you are connected over USB....
The USB connection will be priority Data connection
Try moving out of the Range of your Wi-Fi
Or
Logout of your Wi-Fi....
(You can't actually logout you can only 'Forget' the connection)
Tap 4Dot (.... Menu) --> Settings --> Wi-Fi
Tap on your Connected Wi-Fi
Tap (Modify) Icon
Tap (Forget) Icon
Tap (^) Icon Screen top right
To verify the Wi-Fi is OFF Tap 4Dot (.... Menu) screen top right Wi-Fi logo with an 'X'
To Reconnect to Wi-Fi.... For Updating etc....
Tap 4Dot (.... Menu) --> Settings --> Wi-Fi
Tap on your chosen Wi-Fi
Enter your Wi-Fi Password
Tap Done
Tap Connect

The SIM cards for the Live NAV3, NAV4 & NAV5 (Wi-Fi) devices are located under concealed flaps and/or stickers in various location on the devices....
On the GO 5200/6200... The SIM Card is situated under the sticker bearing the serial number....
I think the SIM contacts oxidize over time and removing and replacing the SIM a few times remakes the connection....
With the device turned OFF...
Carefully remove the sticker... It's advisable to use Antistatic precautions when handling the SIM... You will need a pair of fine pointed tweezers to remove the SIM....
If you pull-out the SIM a little way, and reinsert it, repeat this a few times, it should now remake a good connection....
I used double-sided sticky tape to replace the Serial Number sticker....
Warning... The above will void your Tomtom guarantee....
All the usual disclaimers apply, all the above is at your own discretion
Stay safe... ATB YFM0 -

I don't have any other info listed as above. I do have a application version listed, do you need that?
My satnav is three years old, so think the warranty is already expired. It doesn't feel as if I have a card, but I'll try that.
