This happens every time I try and update...First I clear my cache...It sits telling me "waiting for device"...so being at this situation many times...I just shut down.... uninstall My Drive Connect using Revo uninstaller....reinstall My Drive Connect...then update and everything works...there has got to be a reason for this

Just a thought... I rarely have a problem with MyDrive Connect...
I do not have MyDrive Connect starting with the PC, I have a shortcut on the desktop and only start MyDrive Connect when needed....
I start MyDrive Connect....
Wait while MDC initializes --> Login....
Turn on the PND wait while it Boots up....
Connect PND to MyDrive Connect....
I would NEVER have a Tomtom device connected to my PC....
When....
(1)... Installing MyDrive Connect (Including Uninstalling & Reinstalling MyDrive Connect)
(2)... Updating the MyDrive Connect program
(3)... Modifying MyDrive Connect i.e... As in the workaround deleting the Home3 and the MyDrive Connect folders....
