No distance shown in Sats or Map

When reviewing activities I want to see the distance at certain points on the map but I can't see how to do this if it's possible also when zooming in on the maps they automatically zoom out again after a second or so which is annoying.

When looking at the stats, pace, heart rate etc can be selected to review against each other but not distance which would be useful. Is this possible or could it be considered for a future update?

It is not possible and there will be no future updates. TT Sports went out of business and stopped all development almost 3 years ago, The watches are all discontinued and obsolete. What you see is what you get.
