SuperuserHi @NJP100
What happens if you press and hold the ON/OFF button for about 20 seconds plus until you hear the drumroll sound then let the button go?
You can only delete maps if there are 2 or more on the device as it requires a Map in order to start up so prevents you deleting all maps.. I would suggest that when you have go the unit going again that you find the map of Iceland and download it to the device. The map is very small and will be tucked away on the intern memory but will ensure you have a valid map on the device so you can run it normally and add and delete maps as you require. It is also a help if you have only the main map you want for every day use on the unit as if during an update, which are best done one at a time, you lost the map the little map is there to help you sort it out.

SuperuserHi @NJP100
If you only have the Europe map on the device then if there is a problem during an update then you could lose the map as the existing map is deleted first to make way for the updated map.
If you lose the map then you have to go through the No Maps Found process. If you add the Iceland map which is only about 30mb it is then tucked away on the internal memory. As the TT unit needs a map to start up normally then if the above problem occurs and the Europe map is lost the Iceland map ensures the unit Starts and runs normally and you can just go to Add a Map and reinstall the lost map. When you reinstall the map it will be the latest version.
You may consider that having the USA map on the extra memory card is the same as having the Iceland map. I would still do it as there is always a chance the Card may not run if you have had an issue.
When ever you get any updates to do then do them one at a time and when you have finished do a Soft Reset, see video, as this tidies up the files on the unit.

Glad you are sorted. Don’t forget my suggestion re Iceland. Still worth doing.
