Android can work fine. My Motorola Moto with Qualcomm chipset is stable.
(accept last year I needed to reboot my phone twice to let it connect with my Rider 550)

Samsung and Huawai have there own CPU's like Apple. If you read this forum more people report problems with these brands. But other people report stable connections with these brands.

Apple only works stable with all features with iOS12.

So my advice is Android (10) with Qualcomm chipset.

iPhones have trouble connecting with the Rider 550 since iOS13.

The best option is to use a BT Hotspot on your iPhone for pairing without de MyDrive App and Siri connection.

Thanks RoadRider - any idea if Androids have the same issues?

I'm thinking of a phone upgrade soon and have been considering a Samsung S20.
