Keeps losing the connection when updating maps

I have just purchased a new UK map.
I have a problem with my TomTom Start 60 ... it keeps losing the connection when trying to update the maps.
Connects for a few minutes, then looses the connection, updated to around 50% - 60% then back to zero when connection lost.
Connected to Windows 10 computer, have updated My Drive Connect, connected via the TomTom supplied usb cable directly to the computer.
Been busy with this for a couple of hours now!

have you checked the USB power saving problem suggested by @yamfazman on the other post you made on th same matter..
Also you can try these suggestions for problems with My Drive Connect.

Thanks Doug, did check out the suggestions on link above.
I think my problem was caused by a faulty USB cable ... used another cable , (not the TomTom one supplied) and managed to update the maps. Have ordered spare cable to replace the old one.
