Fiber for me in France, Europe full ( more than 9 GB, 40 mn on my 6200).
Hi Lepre, I have VirginMedia 100Mbps. That is why I could not understand why it took so long. I was getting worried because there was no announcement re v10.55 on here and I was thinking what am I downloading. Just pleased it was okay in the end.
That time includes some idle time as I was doing other things so a download would have finished for, maybe, a minute or more before I started the next download. That indicates to me that at the time there wasn’t a problem with TomTom servers. Obviously there will be times when a high usage to download occurs thus reducing the available individual bandwidth and hence slower download.
As advised on the forum in past responses, I only download one update at a time which, for me, seems to work just fine.
I hope that adds a bit of perspective to this issue.

Same here no problems ....
Virgin Media Broadband 100Mb/s
Speed Connection test 112.8Mb/s...
The fastest Wi-Fi connection displayed on my Go Premium is 72Mb/s
I guess that's the Max Connection speed on the NAV5 (Wi-Fi) devices....
My downloads on the GO Premium over USB With MDConnect running in the background are notably faster using USB than over Wi-Fi....
Full Europe map v10.55... Size 8.91GB
PC Hardwired back to the router, connected over USB, MyDrive Connect running in the background....
Map installed, device ready to use... 16 minutes 41 seconds (Stopwatch)
Stay Safe... ATB YFM
When will the Q4 2020 maps be released?
the common logic says "every 3 months"
We wait to see.
