screen blank after map update
i have a Rider v5, which until i updated the maps on Tuesday was working fine, now when i power on i get the welcome screens and theft splash screen, but nothing else. i can tell by the backlight that the device is powered on but cannot access menus, and screen is blank. any ideas or is it dead jim

Thank you for this information, I do not have the application option to remove in tomtom home, but have removed all other files and currently downloading the new files, hopefully this will resolve it. I have no way to reset the device though as it has no reset button as described in the video. Is there a way to reset using the power button or on screen if I cannot view the menu0 -
reinstall on all maps and update complete, still not working, same problem as before, but now i do not get a splash screen at all, just the bootup logo. i have held h power button down till i get the system data and then the tomtom logo for a 2nd time but no different, i think it is dead dead. which is rather annoying as i was going to sell it to offset an upgade cost0
