My Live Services expired yesterday and when I went to renew I was linked to a page that said support was discontinued. Really?!!
Not sure where to even buy a new Tomtom in South Africa nowadays, can't find anyone who stocks them. Even sites which list them, albeit as "out of stock" (GO620/GO6200), are asking stupidly high prices.
My GO 1005 is working fine and has done for many years, super reliable, and as a pensioner, I can't even dream of a new one.
As a life long Tomtom supporter, I'm very disappointed; very!!

Well, this is a confusing situation.
I emailed TomTom support and was assured that my Go 1005 was still supported despite all the information to the contrary on my 'MyDriveConnect', the referenced obsolete devices page and my inability to re-subscribe to Live Services due to 'incompatibility'.
I was advised to go through the Live Services purchase process and select "Other devices" and not my GO LIVE 1005.
I am now re-subscribed to Live Services SA for another 1.5 years. I'm pleased but also confused. Thanks TomTom support.1 -
