Cannot receive text messages

Hi
I have just purchased the Essential and I can receive calls but not text messages. As far as I am aware this model should receive texts !

    If you are using an iPhone to connect to the Essential the messaging option has not been available since Apple introduced IOS13 which included a security change which has resulted in the My Drive App not functioning as designed. It would appear a simple or major change to the My Drive App is not available to resolve this issue.
