My device won't receive a GPS Signal. Even though it is old, should it not receive GPS signals? All my old destinations are still available.

Hi @Drano
Try the following.
Fully charge the unit up or attach it to a power source like a Power Bank and do the following.
Turn the unit on and when ready Press and Hold the ON/OFF button in until you hear a drumroll sound then let the button go. When the unit has restarted create a route on it and set it so it is ready for you to drive .
Take the unit outside well away from Buildings , Trees etc so that you have a clear view of the sky all around and place the unit down and leave it there for 30 minutes plus to give it plenty of time to lock on. to the Sats. Once it has achieved a lock by this method it should find them easier in future however if your unit is offered the QuickGPSfix updates ensure you load them as they assist the unit to find the sats.
It has been found that placing the unit on a car roof with a clear view of the sky the unit finds the sats quicker.

If you haven't updated your device for a while, then it's normal as you haven't got the WNRO fix. Download TomTom HOME and sign in to your TomTom Account. Connect your device and once the device has been recognized by the program, click Update my device, follow on-screen instructions and get all the updates.0

Thanx Doug In my pursuit of an answer, I left my unit outside while I did some chores. Voila, just like your post the unit started working . I'll fully test it next week. Issue resolved.1
