Paying within guarantee

Hello,

I bought my TomTom start 62 in December 2019. No I had du sens it in for repairing.
They say I have to pay 95€ for it, but that's almost the price in the first place.
Why should I pay within guarantee?

    Can you not provide them with your purchase details for the item. Also just on the off chance are you sure you have contacted a genuine Tomtom website .
