Are there any handheld TomTom units I can bring hiking, camping or hunting?
I’d like to use the GPS satellites on a handheld device.

    Sorry no, the Tomtom devices are not for off-road use, they are aimed at Car, Truck Coach, Camper or Motorcycle road navigation

    It’s too bad TomTom doesn’t look into off-road navigational products.

    Since I purchased an iPhone, I no longer need a road navigation device.

    Wished there was a way to use my older TomTom device for something other than a desktop paper weight. If you were to provide topography functions, I could keep using it.

    Are there other vendors that provide topography maps that can be used on the TomTom device?
