My neuw Tomtom go Premium shows me that the GPRS-Status is not connected. I would like my GPRS-Model 16.01.202 ot be connected because I'm of the opinion that this device is able. How can I get it?

Hi @greg1983
I would try a Factory Reset. Log into your Account on the My Drive Website to see if your My Places etc are stored there. if they are then after the Factory Reset they should restore to the unit when it connects to your My Drive Account.
Tap Menu
Tap Settings
Tap System
Tap Reset Device.
If that does not work then contact Customer Support who can check our Sim.

Click on Contact Us. Log in top right
Type Help in the Box that appears then hit return
Click on Contact Us at bottom of the Help box
Select Chat or Email.

Hi
@greg1983
Welcome to the site....
The GO 5000 does NOT have a Wi-Fi Connection....
Are you connected to your PC over USB....
With MyDrive Connect running ???
Try....
Without your Tomtom device connected over USB with MyDrive Connect running....
Check... Tap 4Dot (.... Menu) --> Setting --> System --> About....
Does 'Traffic' report... Activated ???
Scroll down....
Does your 'Data Connection' report... Built-in SIM
Does your GPRS SIM report the SIM info....
Don't post the Info on the site....

I’ve had the same problem since at least November ‘21. I was told they were aware of a problem with their GPRS provider. I chased support over and over and eventually they accepted my GO5000 back for free “repair” - though it works fine except for the GPRS/SIM problem. It’s on its way back to Romania at the moment so I don’t know if they will fix it or not.
Seems to be a widespread problem with TT, not with individual devices.0
