Non original TOMTOM Maps..Is this possible ?.

As TOMTOM will eventually stop supplying Maps to selected models and as I've paid good Money for my GO-SUPREME model, is it possible to buy and download Maps from other Websites ?.
If TOMTOM won't help, it could be possible to get Map updates from another source. But where ?. Any ideas ?.

    Hi @MRHOMEOWNER1960

It is true that Tomtom have stopped supplying maps to some models but they are units with very limited internal memory, usually circa 2gb and less, and in many cases have no facility to add more memory and are as much as 10 years old and more.. Your unit has 16gb of internal memory and the ability to add up to 32 gb of extra memory so is easily capable of coping with the current major maps like Europe which are nearly 10Gb in size. You are in the same position with Apple or Android phones except for example Apple are not supporting some phones that are younger than units Tomtom are still supporting.

Anyone offering to supply maps is either claiming to be an official Tomtom site which they are not or are acting illegally.
