I purchased a new Samsung S20 plus and cannot connect via Bluetooth to my tomtom rider 400. Bluetooth is enabled and it finds all other devices. When I try to pair with Tom Tom rider 400 neither will find each other. How do I solve this?

Hello Golfblues.
I have the same problem with mine.
It seems that this is a known problem with Tomtom GPS devices, with new cell phones.
And the Tomtom Rider 550 is no exception.
I searched the internet, in forums, and even contacted Tomtom support.
For the moment, there is nothing to do.
We have GPS with unusable traffic function.
I am writing to you because I have finally managed to connect my TomTom Rider 40/400 to my cell phone.
Here's what to do, so you can share it with more people with the same problem.
1 GPS must be reset to factory condition.
2 Once the GPS is switched on, do not accept to activate the TomTom services.
3 First pair your communication system (Cardo system or Sena, etc.) with the GPS.
4 Pair your communication system with your cell phone.
5 Install TomTom MyDrive on your cell phone.
6 Start the application.
7 Open your Bluetooth settings on your cell phone.
8 On your GPS, go to services and connect your cell phone.

Clear the Hidden Cache on your phone (Google for the procedure)
Drum reset the Rider.
And pair the Rider with the Phone. In most cases this solves the problem.
