TomTom Go on iOS lagging terribly. 5 to 6 kms

My TomTom Go app has started to lag very badly, sometimes it's 5-6 km behind me.
I have searched and found that I am not the only one.
I am on iOS 13,5,1, and TomTom Go 2,3, which should be the newest
