Voice Guidance stopped working on Go5000

Hello, I'm hoping someone here can help as I've just wasted my time doing the Support online chat with a TomTom rep and it was a complete waste of time!!!!!!

I carried out an update a while back on my TomTom Go 5000 and since then the voice guidance has stopped working, it's completely silent throughout the whole journey which has led to me missing turning which is very frustrating.

I've checked that voice isn't muted and the volume is turned up, I've also checked that 'Jane' is on the device and selected but still nothing. I tried selecting Serena, loading up a route then selecting play preview but it's still silent.

The same thing happened once before but it was quite a long time ago and I can't remember how it was fixed.

Please help.

    Hi @Genetix

    When you Tap Menu are the Speaker icon Botton Left and the Voice icon Bottom Right clear with no line through them.

    Yes both are on and not struck through.
