hi it wont receive a destination from my phone ,its very slow at mapping doesnt give an alternative route and gives some very strange routes ,miles out of the way its been used 3 times ,and the last time i switched it off because it got lost ,amongst other things,very dissapointed with it its a premium x0

If you are sending a destination from the MyDrive App on the phone is the Premium logged into and syncing with the same My Drive Account.
Re Alternative Routes. Create a route then
Tap Menu
Tap Current Route
Tap Alternative Routes.
Regarding odd routes what route preferences have you set in the unit.

Tap 4Dot (.... Menu) --> Setting --> MyDrive... Login with your Tomtom Account Email & Password....
