Hi,
My TomTom 5200 has stopped connecting to Gprs and so I get no live traffic info when on the move.
Having looked through this forum it suggets that a sim card is needed. I have checked my defice and there is no sim in it. Should there be a card in the slot or is it optional?
Thanks,
Tom

PS All is fine when connected to the Internet (at home!)

    Thank you Doug,
I was sceptical, having seen others for whom this didn't work but for me it did!
It took quite a while to connect last night (don't know how long but after 45 mins - I went to bed) but this morning it connected fine, it disconnected when in WiFi range and then quickly reconnected when out of range.
Fingers crossed it continues to be as quick.
    Thank you very much,
    Tom
