The Tomtom is great for navigating but I find , as a driver, the text is way to small to view street names at a glance. If you have a front seat passenger, they can study the screen without worry. You can put in larger micro SD cards so there is a lot of room to have more than one version of a map available. Anyone with built-in GPS can attest to the ease of reading street names. They usually appear in a bubble pointing to the street. They also have highway numbers appearing just as the signs are on the road.

    Hi
    @wrtmactt
    I use the 5" GO 5000 dashboard mounted... The device is nearer and easier to read
    If you use 2D rotate in direction of travel view instead of the 3D driving view there are many more side roads displaying names....
