I have changed my email address

My TomTom Go 6100 has the old email address on it and I cannot log on to my drive on my device.
How can I change the email address on it?

    Tap Menu
    Tap Settings
    Tap System
    Tap Reset Device

    This will return the device to the out of the box position except the Map and operating versions currently on the unit will not be changed.

    When you set the unit up you can now input the new Email address. It should be noted that you will lose all the Favourites (My Places) and any Poi, Routes and Route files on the device.

    If you log into MyDrive Web Route planner with your old email & password
    It "May" ??? still be possible to recover your old My places....

    See.... Many users have asked for the facility to backup their MyPlaces to a PC
    The MyDrive Route planner allows you to download your data from the Tomtom Cloud
