you cannot use this card on this device TomTom XL

Hello, I tried to update my TomTom XL using HOME, and ever since whenever I try to start the device I get the error "you cannot use this card on this device". I've tried to export the map onto the computer and install it back but it seems to be stuck when trying so. The map is Central Europe, version 995.8507

A map has been activated for your device. Please remove the existing map first and download the fresh version offered for download.
